“Comments on the Criminal Procedure Law, Part A” have been published in the scientific edition of Kristine Strada-Rozenberga
On 16 October 2019, the opening ceremony of the first “Comments on the Criminal Procedure Law” took place at the University of Latvia.
This is the largest study dedicated to the rights of criminal procedure in the history of Latvia (1032 pages). The book includes scientific and practical comments on Part A of the Criminal Procedure Law. The edition is designed as a sequential commentary on separate articles of the Criminal Procedure Law. The comments will be useful both for students in study courses dedicated to criminal proceedings and for persons professionally involved in the practical application of criminal proceedings.
This monograph in the scientific edition of our Law Firm colleague Professor Kristine Strada-Rozenberga was created within four years. 14 authors participated in the preparation of the comments, including Kristine Strada-Rozenberga herself (author and co-author of comments on 80 articles of the law) and our colleague attorney at law Janis Rozenbergs (author of comments on 42 articles of the law).
