The article of K. Strada-Rozenberga “Time of change in criminal proceedings is continued” is published
On 20 June 2018, the Saeima adopted already 34th amendments to the Criminal Procedure Law, which were proclaimed on 4 July 2018 and came into force on 1 September 2018. The attorney at law of our office Kristīne Strada-Rozenberga, in co-authorship with Professor Dr.Iur. Ārija Meikališa, have prepared an article, including a brief description of the amendments and comments, highlighting the most significant changes in the criminal procedure to be referred to every type of performance of criminal proceedings, as well as describing the so-called accelerated criminal proceeding introduced with the amendments.
