On June 11, 2020, another set of amendments to the Criminal Procedure Law and the Criminal Law had been adopted, which significantly affects the application of the norms of the Criminal Procedure Law and its understanding. Our colleague Kristīne Strada-Rozenberga, a sworn attorney, (co-authored with Prof. Ārija Meikališa), in this article gives a brief comment on the most important aspects of the new amendments.
